Flat Top Hydraulic Tipping Trailer | Max. 2500kg ATM | 3m x 2.1m (9.6FT x 6.8ft)
These easy to follow trailer plans feature 43 pages of high quality, fully dimensioned fabrication drawings including an itemised parts list and detailed cutting lists which can assist when ordering the required steel and components.
This Flat Top Hydraulic Tipping Trailer utilises a 4 stage hydraulic ram kit which is fully detailed in our drawings to ensure the ram you choose is compatible with the chassis design. A tipping angle of 45 degrees is achievable with a 620mm stroke. Remove the side boards and you have a flat top to transport what you like.
Should you wish to build your own drawbar mounted toolbox, there are free plans included. However, if you would prefer, you can install a shop purchased toolbox.
With our hydraulic tipping trailer plans, each sheet metal and plate part is conveniently included as a DXF file, giving you the option of CNC cutting your parts.
You may prefer to have a hard copy of the plans while building, and for this, you can simply print the plans in either A3 or A4 size.
If you’re not too familiar with fabrication plans or blueprints, we’ve created a number of tips and guides on how to understand the trailer plans including descriptions and information on symbols or abbreviations used, and how to follow them accurately and confidently.
Before purchasing it is recommended that you contact your local vehicle registering office to ensure you will be able to register your trailer. Great care has been taken to engineer these plans to comply with all road and safety standards. This ensures you get a quality build that will outlast any imported trailer of the same type.

Very easy to understand and well laid out
Fantastic drawings. Easy to read. Well organised. Highly recommended
Hi guys.
As a hole the details of the plans are good. There is enough data you you to build, however I have found there are information that is missing.
Ride height, no information available therefore it makes it hard to work out.
Final assembly drawings missing overall dimension
Details of ram have been difficult to interpret.
Diagonal measurements missing.
No clearance on bolt holes. (You refer to a 20mm hole for a 20mm bolt, but no clearance for galv/paint.
Suggest using stainless hinges where chipped paint doesn’t matter.
Standardise the section and plate thickness as much as possible.
Please put measurement and angles on the cut drawings. Will make things much easier.
That’s all for now, but there will be more.
All the best
100%
Another well thought out and easy to follow plan
