Boat Trailer | Max. 2200kg ATM | Suits Boats 4.5m – 6m (15ft – 20ft)
Our Boat Trailer plans include 41 pages of highly detailed fabrication drawings to build your own fully adjustable boat trailer. The rollers and bow stop mounts are adjustable in every direction to ensure your boat is properly supported and the weight is evenly distributed across the hull. The incorporation of wobble rollers allows for an easier loading/unloading experience compared to traditional slide-style boat trailers – meaning less effort loading your boat and more effort for fishing!
The trailer plans include detailed drawings of every part of the trailer, even some of the purchase parts that you may want to build yourself instead of purchasing – it’s totally up to you!
If you’re not too familiar with fabrication plans or blueprints, we’ve created a number of tips and guides on how to understand our trailer plans including descriptions and information on symbols and abbreviations used, and how to follow them accurately and confidently. This means that navigating your trailer plans will be a breeze.
Each sheet metal and plate part is conveniently included as a DXF file, providing the option to laser/profile cut or water-jet cut your parts. For convenience, these plans can be printed to A4 or A3.
Before purchasing it is recommended that you contact your local vehicle registering office to ensure you will be able to register your trailer. Great care has been taken to engineer these plans to comply with all road and safety standards and to ensure you get a quality build that will outlast any imported trailer of the same type.

The plans were a good start to provide specifications of the various components. I am building a single axle trailer for a 6 metre trainable yacht. I need to use Independant torsion are suspension in order to accommodate to keel which although retracted for towing still protrudes well below to hull. Leaving clearance for a beam axle would have th boat sitting too high on the trailer and make launching difficult. The project will proceed as soon as I have decided on which IRS to use.
